Handcrafted entirely from full-grain leather in our Port Elizabeth studio, these western fringe chaps are a serious piece of work – built for riders, performers, western enthusiasts, and anyone who understands that some things simply have to be made by hand to be done properly.

The warm tan leather is supple yet substantial, cut cleanly and shaped with precision across the full leg. Full-length leather fringing runs down the outer seam of each leg – dozens of individual leather strips cut and attached by hand, creating that iconic western movement that catches every eye in the arena or on the stage. The fringing is genuine leather throughout, not synthetic – it moves, ages, and wears exactly as it should.

The shaped western yoke sits neatly at the hip, embossed with the Dragonfly Leather studio mark – a subtle but proud detail that identifies the craftsmanship behind the piece. A matching leather belt with a sturdy buckle closure keeps the chaps securely in place, worn over jeans or riding trousers as shown.

These chaps are made entirely to order and tailored to your body measurements. To place your order, please provide your waist, hip, inseam, and outseam measurements. Leather colour, fringe length, and yoke style options are available on request. Please allow 3–4 weeks for your chaps to be handcrafted and completed.
