Handcrafted from full-grain leather in our Port Elizabeth studio, these lace-up leather shoes are built on the bones of the classic South African veldskoen — practical, tough, and timelessly good-looking. The rich dark brown leather has a deep, warm tone that pairs effortlessly with jeans, chinos, or anything else worth wearing, and it only gets richer with age and polish.
The moccasin-style hand-stitched toe seam is the detail that defines the silhouette — a traditional construction technique that gives the shoe its character and its comfort. The upper wraps the foot naturally without pressure points, and the full-grain leather softens and moulds to the exact shape of your foot over the first few weeks of wear. After that, they fit like nothing else.
Bright red leather laces thread through the eyelets in a criss-cross lacing pattern — a bold, confident detail that lifts the classic silhouette without overcomplicating it. The sturdy leather sole is stitched directly to the upper, built for real wear on real ground. These are not fashion shoes. They are proper shoes, made properly.

Custom Orders:
Every pair is individually handcrafted to order. Please provide your foot length in centimetres or your standard SA/EU shoe size. Width fittings, alternative lace colours, and leather finishes are available on request. Please allow 2–3 weeks for your shoes to be made and dispatched.
